Abstract :
An analogue simulation method has been developed for study of the phenomena of lightning induced voltages by using a 1 : 200 scale model. It has been verified that the thus produced lightning induced voltage waveform is in good agreement with the waveform obtained by numerical analysis. By using this method, a study has been made of the lightning induced voltage shielding effects of various types of overhead ground wire.
