Abstract :
The paper suggests considerable simplification of the problem of computation in the analysis of jump resonance in 3-phase systems. The usually encountered 6-vector equation is reduced to one involving two vectors, and initiation of an iterative process (Newton-Raphson, Gauss-Seidel) may safely be made with a null vector.
