Abstract :
The purpose of this note is to present a new approach for stabilizing single-input control-affine systems for which the robust relative degree equals the dimension of the state space. In contrast to the method used in approximate feedback linearization, we employ piecewise constant controllers, which allows us to account for higher order terms.
