ESM systems applications

An overview of systems applications is presented to show the need for critical assessments of the performances required for the intended roles under the anticipated signal environments. System features are outlined to demonstrate that there is no single system concept to satisfy all roles. Current techniques and future goals are discussed to draw attention to the need for innovation in microwave designs and signal processing.
