Abstract :
The paper focuses on a new algorithm used in the PECOD (program for electrical circuit optimisation design) program for solving the constrained optimisation problem. The algorithm has superlinear convergence and the advantage that a sequence of optimisations is not required; it is computationally very efficient. Two examples are given of the application of the PECOD program to the design of practical electronic circuits.
