Abstract :
The aim of this study is to perform scale model tests on various grounding grids with and without ground rods to determine their effective resistance to ground and the surface potential distribution during ground faults. The results obtained from the scale models will provide guidelines for accurate and safe design of modern complex grounding systems of AC substations.
