Abstract :
Field emission properties of MoS2 particles on clean niobium electrodes were investigated, and emitting particles were localized and studied. Studies on natural MoS2 where high emissivity was found for the basal planes oriented perpendicular to the surface are also presented. These results are discussed in the light of existing models for enhanced field emission.
