  • Abstract
    The behavior of the signaling rate of error-correcting codes of length n and minimum distance d_{n} is studied in the limit for large n when the sequence d_{n}/n approaches a prescribed limit \\delta . A function R(\\delta ) representating the asymptotic signaling rate is defined and is shown to be continuous.
