  • Abstract
    In this letter, a method based on higher order statistics (HOS) has been developed to extract the discriminating feature of the fault-signal from load current of a series-compensated line. A fuzzy logic-based approach has been incorporated to classify these features into different categories indicating various fault and no fault conditions.
