Abstract :
The analytical basis of a method to focus the electromagnetic power into a conductive cylinder is described. The scheme, & currently being used by others, is to locate a number of horn apertures around the periphery. An explicit expression is obtained for the required excitation of the apertures for a two-dimensional model.
