Abstract :
We designed and fabricated benzocyclobutene-based polymer waveguide directional couplers and measured the polarization dependence of their splitting ratios. Wide-band polarization-insensitive operation and the possibility of using thermal tuning to maintain low polarization dependence were demonstrated.
