Abstract :
Knowing the scattering parameters of an unsymmetrical cross junction, the reflection and transmission coefficients of a 90 bend truncated in an angle of 45 can be derived by considering special symmetries. For higher frequencies, the transmission properties of these truncated bends are much better than those of normal right-angle bends.
