Abstract :
In this letter, we propose and experimentally demonstrate a novel optical frequency-shift-keying (OFSK) transmitter based on polarization modulation. It features data rate transparency and continuous tuning of wavelength spacing, providing great flexibility in OFSK transmitter design. The performance of the transmitter has been further experimentally characterized.
