Abstract :
This article documents the impact that federal spectrum oversight has had on US radio operators since 1995. It outlines the positions and activities of stakeholders and interest groups in the commercial and government sectors, as well as US federal oversight bodies´ responses to these activities. Analyzing these positions, actions, and reactions could provide insight into appropriate next steps for managers of the radio spectrum.
