Abstract :
Currently available formulation of Z-matrices for rectangular segments in planar microstrip circuits involves numerical summation of the doubly infinite series in the corresponding Green´s function. These computations can be accelerated considerably by using the formulation proposed here which is based on an analytical treatment of one of the summations involved.
