Abstract :
A typical CAD application has been implemented in two competing programming languages, Pascal and Prolog. The application chosen was a two-dimensional drafting system which is part of a project to develop a three-dimensional geometric modelling facility on a microcomputer. The results show the greater suitability of Prolog for such an application.
