Abstract :
A novel technique is described in which a combination of geometrically symmetric and antisymmetric interdigital transducers may be employed to produce a constant 90° phase difference between two taps on a surface-acoustic-wave delay line. This relative phase difference is maintained at 90° over the whole transducer bandwidth.
