Abstract :
A CPW-fed planar ultra-wideband antenna with hexagonal radiating elements is presented. The antenna also has a frequency band notch characteristic. By inserting a V-shaped thin slot on the hexagonal radiating element, the narrow frequency band notch has been created very close to the desired frequency.
