  • Abstract
    The basic theory, instrumentation, and the response of the neutron porosity-logging tool system are described. The discussion covers epithermal neutron physics, thermal neutron physics, and multi-neutron-detector physics. Calibration and environmental corrections are briefly considered. Major parameters affecting neutron porosity response are examined.<>
