Abstract :
Simple and accurate dosed form expressions for variation of characteristic impedance and effective dielectric constant of microstrip with finite strip thickness are reported. The results are in good agreement with the numerical values. These expressions are useful for microstrips used in microwave integrated circuits and computers.
