Abstract :
A technique was developed by which the dipole orientation component can be extracted from the total measured permittivity in the presence of electrode polarization. The static dielectric permittivity and relaxation times for fluids containing mobile ions can thus be determined unambiguously. The approach is based on the use of nonlinear regression to fit an established model for the frequency dependence of permittivity to the measured data
