Abstract
Radiofrequency hyperthermia has been used for treatment of cancer and relies on reduced blood flow through the tumour. Microwave-induced hyperthermia is proposed by means of an orthogonal-array system which produces a focal region for spatially selective internal heating within an attenuating medium.
