Abstract :
Algorithms for formulating the hybrid equations of linear multiports are derived by means of block matrix elimination. The algorithms can be implemented using sparse matrix techniques. The computational requirements of each algorithm are determined, and rules on how to choose the most efficient algorithm for solving a given problem are obtained.
