            Abstract : 
A constructional method is presented for phase-matching a polynomial at a number of preselected points on the frequency axis. For a polynomial with n complex coefficients, the phase can be matched at 2n+1 points. Such polynomials are useful in the design of filters and group-delay equalisers.
