Abstract :
In this paper, a tolerance analysis concerned with an axial displacement on a brushless dc motor is studied. The axial displacement occurring in productions of a brushless dc motor directly affects its torque ripple. Therefore, the tolerance analysis is very important to improve the robustness of its production. This work is accomplished by stochastic simulation in order to overcome disadvantages of Monte Carlo simulation.
