Abstract :
Experimental results of a multiplexer using a diffraction grating for a wavelength-division-multiplexing transmission system are described. The multiplexer has 10 channels and a wavelength spacing of 36.2 nm in the 1.1¿1.5 ¿m wavelength region. Minimum insertion loss for each channel was less than 2.2 dB.
