  • Abstract
    The analysis of intermodulation in X-cut lithium tantalate resonators is performed and applied to the evaluation of the fourth-order nonlinear elastic coefficient. A comparison with an AT-cut quartz resonator indicates that lithium tantalate nonlinearities are much lower.
