Abstract :
A new design for a double sideband commutated Doppler system for landing aircraft is proposed. It is capable of providing angular information in elevation and azimuth by the measurement of a Doppler frequency. Furthermore, it offers the possibility of detecting and correcting any multipath error present in the Doppler signal.
