Abstract :
Intelligent building systems are concerned with information that pertains directly to individual workers: working hours, meeting schedules, and times for training lectures or seminars. The kinds of information used in Japanese office buildings and applications designed to manage that information are discussed. PBX-computer internetworking in a typical Japanese office is described.<>
