Abstract

A description is given of the scope of the project which provided and installed process computer hardware and software to replace the existing Millstone 2 (MP-2) process computer and incorporate the function of the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) in the computer. A discussion of the project responsibilities is followed by descriptions of the integrated computer system and the SPDS. The latter includes parameter selection, display data validation, the human-factors program, and the verification and validation program.
