Abstract :
An algorithm for true three-dimensional reconstruction from line integrals (projections onto planes) is discussed and a three-dimensional filter equivalence theorem is formulated. A Radon-type equation is obtained, and the global character of the reconstruction is established. The relation of the algorithm to the conventional slice by slice reconstruction is examined.
