Abstract :
The loading characteristics of a two-wire split-beam termination are culculated using numerical methods. The separate insertion of the first and then the second wire will affect the ultimate forces on the first wire. The interaction of the two wires in the slot and the resultant forces are calculated as a function of the position of the second wire. Several important design considerations are discussed using these results.
