Abstract :
A method to develop an acceptance curve using absolute power quantities obtained from wind power available in literature and direct laboratory measurement of dissipation powers of damper and conductor in question is advanced. It is an easy-to-understand and relatively-simple-to-apply technique of damper evaluation and would be helpful to the manufacturer and user of dampers in overhead transmission lines.
