Abstract :
A new method for designing programmable gain amplifiers which provide a range of selectable integer gain values is presented. The design uses a single noninverting op-amp with a switched resistor network to achieve a number of desirable properties, including high input impedance and immunity of the gain accuracy to drifts in the ON resistance of the physical switches with temperature and aging.
