Abstract
A measurement technique is introduced to simulate the radiation pattern of an antenna mounted on an infinite sized ground plane. The edge diffracted fields from a finite ground plane are measured and then subtracted from the total field to yield only the direct radiation from the antenna that would be present if the antenna were mounted on an infinitely large ground plane. Comparisons with theory are also presented.
