Abstract
All-optical error-free demultiplexing of TDM 100 Gbit/s signals is successfully performed using a nonlinear optical loop mirror. Its gating width is controlled and optimised using a wavelength-tunable modelocked Er3+-doped fibre ring laser, and stable integrated planar lightwave circuit is used as a 6.3 Gbit/s*16 (100 Gbit/s) multiplexer.
