  • Abstract
    Consider the total power received from many identical, randomly scattered RF sources in a plane (that is, in Poisson fashion). If RF propagation follows a power law model with exponent alpha>2, the right tail of the probability distribution approximately follows a Pareto distribution with exponent 2/alpha.
