Abstract :
An evaluation of the time distribution of t.v. frame-difference elements is made, and it is shown from experimental analysis how the probability-density function (p.d.f.) of the number of frame-difference signal pulses (f.d.s.p.) per second can be modelled by the gamma distribution for very large video sequences.
