            Abstract : 
Application of a cubic phase predistortion function to the rectangular transmitted pulse significantly reduces the peak time side-lobe level of Hamming weighted linear FM pulse compression radars with time-bandwidth (TB) products less than about 60 and yields a more rapid falloff of far sidelobes.
