  • Abstract
    We most readily associate the idea of robots competing at sport with machines built to human-size, or at least human- scale. Honda´s Asimo, Sony´s Aibo and the ´house´ hatchet-lady Matilda from TV´s ´Robot Wars´ spring to mind. The capabilities of these larger machines have advanced at a tremendous rate, keeping them in the public eye.
