Abstract :
A new edge-guided mode isolator is presented in which the ferromagnetic-resonance absorption at one side edge of the ferrite microstrip causes nonreciprocal transmission characteristics. Experimentally, more than 20 dB isolation loss and 0.5 dB insertion loss over the 4¿7 GHz frequency range have been obtained.
