Abstract :
Eigensolutions of the wave equation are computed for interacting multiply connected microstrip structures of arbitrary contour. This is done by the application of Galerkin´s method to an integral eigenvalue equation governing the surface current density on the planar metallic configuration. Numerical examples presented concern the coupled microstrip line, concentric resonating rings and a circular disc embedded in a ring.
