  • Abstract
    A design procedure for a composite filter having interdigital input and output sections, separated by a ¿/2 resonator, is outlined. Results from a prototype filter show improved characteristics by comparison with purely interdigital or parallel coupled filters. The passband is in closer agreement with theoretical predictions than is usual for microstrip interdigital filters.
