Abstract :
The impulse response of conducting targets is characterized by complex-frequency poles and their residues, as emphasized in the Singularity Expansion Method. We show that residue sums over correctly chosen pole subseries synthesize first and higher creeping waves on a sphere and describe their multiple circumnavigations with their proper (group) velocity.
