  • Abstract
    A statistical channel model of mobile station (MS) anisotropic power azimuth spectrum (PAS) is presented. This model is based on extensive outdoor urban/suburban channel measurements, and it uses the Von Mises (VM) function. We propose a method to generate the VM model parameters from the direction spread (DS) knowledge. Combined with a random generation of DS, we obtain a statistical PAS simulation.
