  • Abstract
    The empirical Lin´s method for calculating rain attenuation on microwave paths is applicable to 5 min point rain rate distributions. A modified Lin´s formula for 1 min point rain rate distributions is presented and results for various European locations, path lengths and frequencies are shown.
