Abstract :
The LC resonance induced, current steps in the IV characteristics of dc SQUIDs have been studied theoretically and experimentally. Analysis enables us to derive from these I-V characteristics the device parameters such as loop inductance, junction capacitance, resistance, and critical current. These four parameters completely characterize the dynamics of the symmetric dc SQUID.
