Abstract :
Complete temperature fields over two contacting stationary bodies possessing different electric potentials have been numerically determined. Each body is treated separately using the results of previous work; the two bodies are coupled together using conditions of continuity over the contact for the thermal and electrical fields. Contours of constant temperature for two contacting bodies of various materials are given. Evolution and location of points of maximum temperature are also reported.
