Nulling performance of null-steering arrays with digital phase-only weights

After a brief description of various application capabilities offered by phased array techniques, a simulated analysis is presented of null-steering arrays using microwave digital phase-only weights, i.e. in the presence of phase quantisation errors. It is shown that sufficiently good nulling performances requires only a small number of bits.
