Abstract :
In 1947, the small suburb of Thal, Austria, gave birth to Arnold Schwarzenegger, whose motivation and determination would crush his competitors and spur him to become a world-class bodybuilder, global movie star, and governor of the state of California. A few miles east of Thal lies Graz, the second largest city in Austria and itself no stranger to competition. The city boasts six universities, all vying for the attention of 50,000 current students.
